Montessori Academy, Belmore

Historically a circa 1960’s freestanding industrial factory, Anchor Estate partnered with industry leading childcare operator, Montessori Academy, to transform this asset into a 105-place state of the art facility.

The change of asset-use was achieved through creating an opening in the existing timber-framed roof to facilitate the new outdoor play area. Internally, the new classrooms and staffing areas were carefully designed within the existing structure to reduce additional framing and maximise natural light and ventilation.

The Centre has been designed by the award-winning Architecture Studio, Supercontext Studios utilising 3D modelling to streamline the design coordination process.

The Centre provides catered Montessori childcare, long day care, preschool and early education to children aged 0-6 in the Inner-West Region of Sydney, NSW.
